What’s more, after I became Mr. Universe, I began traveling and working around the world. (The nomad in me is proud to be a citizen of the world), I speak five different languages (. I wonder how many of my childhood tormentors feel as at home in their bodies and spirits as I feel in mine. Are they as at home on this planet as I am? I am living proof that it is possible to transcend hard fate, ill health and low-self esteem. I feel my athletic achievements stem equally from years of rigorous soul building as they do from years of maintaining strict exercise and nutritional regimens. Numerous personal and professional struggles have proven to me that one must first employ soul power to enhance physical power and realize seemingly impossible dreams. Nothing ever sets us free except self-control, and the soul can be as instrumental in this as the body.
